Message from Shoi...Hi Welcome to in-the-loop. It's great to start the week with you. The week that was brought its share of tears, fears and uplifting moments. In solving a problem or taking on a challenge, I've found that it's not always easy to start and stay the course absolutely grounded on the reality of who I am. Grappling with these issues can sometimes be painful or scary. But I realized that unless I overcome them, I won't be able to grow and evolve into the best that I can be... as a mother, friend, business person, creative individual. So, I journey on. This is why I've found the earlier parts of our current series, where Ray writes on "clarity" and "inner child", to be particularly significant, because I know therein lies the roadmap for my journey. For today, here's a quick look at the good stuff we've put together for you inside this issue... I like to work closely with a small group of designers/artists at any one time so I can devote attention towards promoting and presenting them in the best possible way, and one that allows our audience to connect with them and their work.
